Description

After I shot the image of the Elder Range at Sunset, I knew I loved the location and was excited to see what it looked like at sunrise, so I retuned the next morning. In my mind I could see an amazing photo, the sun streaming thrrough the tree, the backlit flowers and a silhouetted Wilpena Range. I clicked away and just hoped the images would develop like I had envisaged. I’m happy to say they did!

I love the challenge of shooting black and white film, to create a great black and white film image I think you need to find really high contrast scenes as you don’t have colour or ‘over editing’ as a backup to make an image pop. In the day and age over over edited, AI generated skys, film offers an honest photo.

A2 Print , available in 6×4 ratio. I’ve included options for my standard frame and print options, but of course custom option are available, so please get in touch if you have a specific request.
