Description
I like this shot for it’s rawness. The sun had just set, the little island was in silhouette but light was still shimmering of the ledges. As the swell subsided the water escaped of the ledge making a little waterfall. This was a little risk paddling a canoe in the swell with rocks 1 or 2 metres away and hand holding a $15,000 camera felt quite vulnerable. This photo is great example of a photo that looks so much better printed, the details in the ledge just pop.
